Dario’s Brasserie is the realization of the long-standing goal of Dario and Amy Schicke. Dario grew up in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and fled when the Bosnian War broke out in 1992. He ended up in Germany, where he met Amy, a Nebraska native from Kearney.

The Wine & Grocery Buvette is a one-of-a-kind wine bar and deli in Omaha’s Old Market District. They have a French menu, a bar, a shop, fresh bread and a great wine collection. La Buvette has reflected the diversity of the Old Market district since its owners, Mark and Vera Mercer, founded the café in 1991, inviting locals young and old for social gatherings and personal discussions.
