RHA Outdoor Movie: F9: The Quick Saga
Tuesday August 24 | 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. | 17th Street Green Space (across from Willa Cather Food Center)
Bring a blanket, chairs and your friends to enjoy a free night of the ninth installment of the fast-action movie series. The rain site will be the Red Cloud Room at the Willa Cather Dining Center. Organized by the Association of university residences.

Hi second year Huskers … join Chancellor Green and his classmates for the launch of an exclusive “Soph S’mores” ice cream from the UNL Dairy Store to celebrate your return to campus. Enjoy the camaraderie of your fellow Huskers and free samples of the new s’more treat before it runs out.

Enjoy the ultimate garden-to-table experience and learn more about consuming local, seasonal produce. After meeting at RWC, participants will head to the student organic farm to hand-pick colorful produce and return to the Wellness Kitchen to cook three delicious recipes. The cost is $ 10 per person. Relax with your Husker friends after a successful 1st week of lessons. Celebrate with a Free Relaxing Evening of Outdoor Activities – Bingo; Kona ice cream; music by DJ DeWayne; Arts and crafts; personal works of art by a caricaturist artist; and socialize with your friends at Broyhill Fountain, in the heart of campus. UNL students can skate for free with their NCard. Skate rental is available for $ 3 per pair. A different price for non-UNL participants.
OASIS kicks off
Sunday August 29 | 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. | Nebraska Union
Experience a fun welcome celebration with a captivating cultural dance performance by the Chicago Korean Dance Company and shaved ice by Kona Ice. The CKDC organization is an institution that allows professional dancers to come together in order to present the excellence of Korean culture and to make an effort to prevent the loss of Korean notoriety in the United States, where there are multiculturalisms, races and nationalities.
