“Farzi means illusion in Persian and over the past seven years all branches of the restaurant, including those overseas, have consistently delivered different ‘illusions’ of food,” says Aman Chainani, partner, Farzi Cafe.

He adds, “We make sure that different cuisines come together to provide our customers with a great dining experience. The twists we give to food are the result of constant experimentation while incorporating feedback from our customers. For example, the new menu we launched was designed by our South Indian chef, Surya, to suit the palates of Hyderabad customers.

The restaurant located in Jubilee Hills, has a very modernist decor, with an old school touch with its wooden chairs. This together with the eco-friendly decor with many plants around the place makes for a very comfortable and calming dining experience.

One can choose from a wide range of drinks and appetizers to start the meal and as Chainani says, everything comes with a twist. Their aesthetic presentation will allow you to grab your phone to post the dish on Instagram before tasting it. Of all the restaurant’s branches in India, the Jubilee Hills branch is the largest, with 18,000 square feet of space spread over three indoor and outdoor levels.

The drinks served on site are also revisited, such as the Aam Panna cocktail which is served with tequilla or vodka. The new menu also includes an interesting cocktail called GGG – Gin Ginger Grape.
