New Mexican restaurant arrives in downtown University

A Florida-based Mexican restaurant chain is expanding into Sarasota, with plans to open a new location near the University Town Center mall this summer. Restaurant, Rocco’s Taco and Tequila Bar, specializes in enchiladas, burritos, quesadillas, tacos and salads, and serves over 300 different varieties of tequila.

The new location will be the restaurant’s ninth, joining locations in Boca Raton, Delray Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Naples, Orlando, Palm Beach Gardens, Tampa and West Palm Beach.
