This summer, the outdoor furniture brand Outer invites you to dine outside. Seemingly not content with its range of great outdoor sofas and chairs, Outer has released its first-ever outdoor dining set.
The aluminum and teak dining collection includes two dining tables – one fixed and one extendable – as well as dining chairs. Like the rest of Outer’s outdoor furniture, the dining collection is made from heat-resistant materials so the pieces don’t turn into frying pans when sitting out in the summer sun. The aluminum construction keeps things light, but also light in heat because they don’t overheat; teak materials stay cool to the touch, no matter how hot it gets outside.
The outdoor furniture brand has partnered with weird eyedesign expert and interior designer Bobby Berck to announce the release of the new collection.
“The Outer line of products really aligns with the idea of bringing and enjoying your life outdoors,” Berk said in a press release. “I love the collection’s simple, classic materials and the fact that the pieces are easy to integrate into so many different outdoor spaces and styles. Plus, the products are durable and innovative.”

The fixed dining table has enough space to comfortably seat six, and the extendable table features a hidden center leaf that can turn the eight-seater dining table into a 12-seater dining table. To complement the dining table, Outer has released director-style folding chairs that don’t need to be tied down, just sitting around the table.
Outdoor furniture tends to get dirty. (It’s furniture that stays outside after all.) Outer’s outdoor sofas were innovative in that they feature a trademark OuterShell that pulls out of the sofas to protect them in inclement weather. Outer applied this same OuterShell in their outdoor dining table to keep the tabletop clean when not in use. Although the dining chairs do not have this outer shell, they are equipped with a water-repellent Textilene fabric, which prevents mildew and helps retain its color despite the sun, heat and rain.
The aluminum and teak dining collection is available now on Outer’s website. Tables, on their own, can ship within two weeks, while chairs won’t be available to ship for the next seven to nine weeks. If you bundle the dining table with the chairs, you can save around 12%.
