Perowne Hall opens at Royal Norwich Stables

A new gourmet restaurant has opened on a Norfolk golf course.
The Perowne Room opened at The Stables restaurant, bar and meeting space on the Royal Norwich Golf Course in Weston Longville.
In the original building of the old Weston Estate, it will open every Friday and Saturday evening from 6.30 p.m.
The menu, created by chef Dan Herbert, will emphasize seasonality and local suppliers.
Mr Herbert said the menu would include ingredients from Swannington Farm to Fork, Baron Bigod, Norfolk Quail and Staithe Smokehouse.
An herb garden created during the lockdown will provide ingredients for the dishes, while sourdough bread will be made from the restaurant’s by-products at its on-site microbrewery.
Mr Herbert said: “We are delighted to open the Perowne Room and offer Norfolk customers a new dining experience.
“With a breathtaking backdrop of the Weston Estate, an elegant and elegant venue and, most importantly, a dynamic, seasonal and locally grown menu, the Perowne Room offers a unique dining experience. “
